Blue Acres Berries

In 2017, we purchased an existing blueberry farm that had been in operation for over 10 years. So even though we are new blueberry farmers, our bushes are mature and producing well. Our blueberry season begins in May and continues through July. We have several varieties—Climax, Brightwell, Tifblue, Savory and Premier. While we are not certified organic nor certified naturally grown, our berries are grown as naturally as possible. This means that we do not use pesticides or other chemicals other than fertilizers on our berries. We are a U-pick farm as well as selling to a few small commercial sites. We strive to maintain our fields to maximize easy picking. For your use when you arrive, we have clean berry buckets, a Port-A-Potty, water and hand-sanitizer. Be sure to bring your own containers to take home your fresh berries! If you would rather have us pick for you or you would like frozen berries, let us know. At the farm, we accept FMNP coupons from the Florida Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program and Seniors Program. Call to verify prices and availability.
