A pick-your-own organic rhubarb farm also offering rhubarb and horseradish plants and local honey. The farm is in Black Forest, CO, between Denver and Colorado Springs (30 minutes northeast of downtown Colorado Spring, 1 hour southeast of downtown Denver) It has been open for U-pick organic rhubarb since 2008. Plants are sold via email orders and picked up at the farm before or during harvest weekend. Rhubarb picking, local honey, rhubarb cookbooks and sometimes commercial products made from their rhubarb (jam, spreads, etc.) are available during harvest weekend only, normally early June. Picnic tables, complementary rhubarb treats and bottled water are available while supplies last.
